"We ended up buying a house sight unseen with Billy as our agent. It was a huge risk to work with someone we had never met in person, buy a property we had never seen, and then let it sit vacant for 4 months before we could move in but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Here's our story:

"We 'met' Billy because we were curious about one of his listings via the internet. He was very honest with us and it ended up not being what we were looking for at the time. About a month later, he followed up with us to see how we were doing. He thoughtfully provided us with a timely reminder on how long the buying process would take and asked if based on our goals, was there anything he could help us with.

"Over the next couple of weeks, I think he visited about nine houses on our behalf. He took lots of extra photos and e-mailed them to us with relevant commentary on the condition of the properties, surrounding neighborhood, etc. On the final house he was actually on the phone with us while he was doing the walk through. We put in an offer a couple of hours later and it was accepted.

"Billy was a great help to my wife and I. We actually had three separate houses deals that he represented us in. The first house we put a bid in on was a bank owned repo. Obviously, those that do know how different working with a bank owned property can be, it was a unique experience. We put a bid In at asking price and found out that there was four other offers in on it. Billy kept us in the loop with updates daily if not hourly depending on where in the process we were. Ultimately our offer was a conventional loan and the bank went with a straight cash offer. That being said, I always felt that we knew what was gonna happen and never felt under informed or poorly represented. We again used Billy for our second deal in which we ended up getting into a bidding war with another party. Billy consistently reassured us through it and used what little more budget we had left to outbid the other party and get us what we thought was an amazing deal. Even though Billy had agreed that we got what seemed like a great deal, he still suggested that we get an house inspection done through a certified inspector to be safe. We used a gentlemen he recommended and found out that the house had structural issues that could cost way more then what my wife or I could afford. Again although billy had already basically sold the house, he recommended this knowing that my wife and I were fairly new to the process. We asked sellers to fix all of the issues having already paid more that the asking price from the bidding war. The sellers wouldn't even agree to cover 10 percent of the cost. Knowing that we couldn't cover the cost we followed the recommendation from billy to walk away from the deal. Ultimately the third house was truly lucky number three. We found a house a block away from our college campus which was amazing. Billy recommended on a whim that we look at it at the end of a showing of another house. He knew the location of the house and understood that we both valued location over other things. We put an offer in and gave them two days to reply. The next day we had an accepted offer and everything has been great since. We have recommended billy to everyone that we ever come across searching for houses and will continue to do so in the future. Great guy and a better realtor."
